Led by Sharon Newman (E-212), & 6:00 – 7: 30 pm, begins September 14, 8 sessions

How do you know if you’re really born again? What does it mean to be holy… to love God? Find answers to these and other questions as we take a look back at the fundamentals of Christian beliefs. Together we will dig into God’s Word, discovering scriptural reasons for trusting in His love, and His testimony. “And the testimony is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life” (1 John 5:11-12). First class session will include orientation for those who are new to Bible study or to Precept Upon Precept studies. Contact Sharon with any questions at newmansharon5@gmail.com.
Jonah: Navigating a Life Interrupted – A Women’s Ministry Bible Study (Priscilla Shirer)
Led by Jana Chapman (E-219), 6:00 – 7:30 pm, begins September 21, 7 sessions
InterruptionsThey’re aggravating. Sometimes infuriating. But how we handle interruptions tells us much about our relationship with the Lord. What do we do when He interrupts our lives? Do we run toward Him or, like Jonah, do we run away from Him? In this Bible study, we will discover that interruptions are usually God’s invitation to do something beyond our wildest dreams. When Jonah was willing to allow God to interrupt his life, the result was revival in an entire city. What does God have in store for us if we will only turn to Him? Join us and let’s find out!

The Book of Job – A Men’s Bible study (Vince Miller)
Led by Sam Burnett (A-103), 6:00 – 7:30 pm, begins September 21, 5 sessions

“Why do bad things happen to good people?” This is easily the most asked question about God and the Christian faith. Yet there is no better man to provide an answer than Job. The Bible recognizes Job as an upright, righteous man, yet he suffered a number of traumatic events instigated by Satan but allowed by God. After reading only the first chapter of Job many are left confused about God’s justice given the evidence that he was a very righteous man. In this Bible study author Vince Miller shows Christian men how to apply the story of Job to their own lives, as they encounter suffering and hardships.
