Return of the King

In Micah's day, the people of Israel and Judah were not just flirting with sin, they were fully immersed, committed to sinning as much as they could. They were very good at being bad.

That is what happens when a person (or nation) shuts God out of their life. Sin takes over. Sin overwhelms. Sin dominates. As Christians here in 21st Century America, we can relate to Micah. We see the world around us becoming darker and darker spiritually; sin is increasing; morally, it’s getting worse and worse.

What was Micah going to do about all the sin, all the ungodliness? Was he going to quit? NO! He was going to hope! That’s what the people of God do! Let's look at Micah 7:1-20.
