In the Courtroom with God

We are continuing our study of the book of Micah. In the first three chapters, Micah painted a bleak picture of Israel and Judah. In Chapters 4-5, Micah changed his tone to a message of hope for these people.

In Chapter 6, the tone changes back to judgment again as Micah lays out God's case against His people. Envision a courtroom with God the Father seated behind the bench as Judge, and God the Son (Messiah) standing at the prosecutor’s table. The nations of Israel and Judah are seated at the defendant’s table. The trial is set to begin. Let's look at Micah 6:1-16 as God calls the court to order.
