What is Truth?

There are so many wonderful Christmas movies. What is yours? It’s a Wonderful Life? Elf? One of the Hallmark movies? Christmas movies are so great because we put them on the shelf for 11 months. And then one month out of the year we bring them out and get to relive them. And if you’ve watched them enough, you know all the details and can even recite the dialogue.

The birth of Jesus Christ is like that for many folks. We put it on the shelf and bring it out at Christmas to relive it. We know the characters, the setting and the Scriptures relating to His birth. But do we know why Jesus came?

In the last session, we learned that Jesus came to defang the devil and defeat sin. In this session, we will study words spoken directly by Jesus at the end of His life as He explains why He came.
