Let the Little Children Come to Me

As we have looked at the Gospel of Mark for the last few weeks, we have seen some amazing things happen in the ministry of Jesus. He healed people, cast out demons, multiplied fish & loaves, calmed the wind and the waves, and walked on water. Clearly, Jesus was no ordinary man.

The crowds had heard about Him and were coming from everywhere to see Him. Parents wanted to bring their little children to Jesus so He could place His hands on them and bless them. But the disciples didn’t want to waste His time with children. When Jesus heard the disciples rebuking the children, he was indignant.

Children are a big deal to Jesus. He loves them. And He wants us to bring them to Him. In fact, for every one of us, regardless of our age, He wants us to come to Him like little children. Let's look at Mark 10: 13-16.
