The Sons of Thunder

As we have been going through the Gospel of Mark, we have been watching a couple of major shifts taking place: Jesus has become laser-focused on getting to Jerusalem where He will go to the cross, and the disciples have become focused on which one of them is the greatest.
In Mark 10, two disciples actually walk up to Jesus and ask Him if they could be the greatest in His Kingdom. They wanted to be known as the greatest with the highest positions. They wanted the title, the power, the recognition. “Let us sit closest to Your throne in glory.”
We all want to be the great at something. But what does it take to be the greatest? Let's see what Jesus has to say about that in Mark 10:35-45.
