Wednesday: Jesus Must Die

Passover was celebrated on Friday. On Sunday of that week, Jesus entered Jerusalem as the crowds shouted “Hosanna!” On Monday, Jesus went to the Temple and “cleansed” it. Tuesday was a day of teaching and clashing with the religious leaders.

Let's focus on what happened on Wednesday. Scholars believe it was April 1, 33 AD. Over the next five consecutive days, the most important events in the history of the world took place. What happened in those days would change the world forever.
