The Tomb-Dweller

There are some moments in life that are so important, so powerful, that they impact all the other moments that come after them. Some moments leave scars. Others leave joy. But the most powerful moments are the ones where Jesus steps in to forgive and save.

In Chapter 5, Mark tells the story of a man who had one of those moments. He was a walking disaster – out of his mind, out of control, completely enslaved by evil. But then Jesus showed up. And in one amazing moment, this man went from tormented to transformed.

We’re going to be looking at Mark 5:1-20. But this same story is also told in the Gospels of Matthew and Luke. The reason it is repeated 3 times in the Bible is to emphasize that no one is too far gone for Jesus, and that once He changes your life, you have a story to tell: “If Jesus could save me, He can save you!”
