It's Hard to be Hard-Hearted Part 1

In ancient Hebrew, they didn’t have bold, underline or highlight to emphasize something. Instead they would simply repeat it...again and again if necessary.
As we look at Exodus Chapters 6-10, we will be studying one of the most iconic texts in the Bible: the 10 plagues of Egypt. Here we will keep hearing God say, “Moses, go to Pharaoh, tell him what I say…”
This repetition made the point that God had a purpose and a plan, and He was going to use Moses to accomplish that plan. And it also makes the point that Moses was a reluctant leader. As difficult as it is to read that God had to keep telling him over and over, it turns out that is the kind of person God often uses. Let’s start reading in Exodus 6:28-29.
